Arizon Builds Manufacturing Facility in China

Melbourne-based power solutions specialist Arizon Off-Grid has expanded into China, establishing new manufacturing facilities to support Australian and international caravan manufacturers.
The expansion includes a dedicated production and manufacturing hub and a lithium battery factory, allowing Arizon Off-Grid to supply its Australian-designed power systems directly to caravan and recreational vehicle manufacturers operating in China.
Arizon Off-Grid executive director Roy Ding said the move followed strong growth for the company over the past three years and reflected changing manufacturing patterns within the caravan industry.
“With more manufacturers producing caravans and camper trailers in China, it made strategic sense for us to establish a local manufacturing presence,” Ding said.
“This allows us to supply our systems directly at the point of production, reducing lead times, lowering costs, and maintaining build quality.”
The new Chinese facilities will manufacture Arizon Off-Grid power control systems and lithium batteries covering 12V, 24V and 48V platforms for manufacturers exporting caravans and RVs to Australia and other international markets.
The company has also increased its business development and sales presence across South East Asia as it pursues further international growth.
The expansion comes as Arizon Off-Grid celebrates 12 years at its Epping, Melbourne operation.
The company was also recognised with the 2025 Caravan Industry Victoria Excellence in Component Manufacturing Award.
Alongside the manufacturing expansion, Arizon Off-Grid has launched 12V 230Ah and 314Ahlithium batteries produced at its Chinese facility and introduced its new NEXUS Series power solutions.
Developed and tested at the company’s Melbourne headquarters, NEXUS incorporates digital switching technology designed to provide manufacturers and users with greater control and flexibility over vehicle power systems.
“By combining local manufacturing capability with Australian design, we are well positioned to support the next phase of growth in the global caravan industry,” Ding said.
